My name is Elizabeth Wendt. I have been a stylist for over 30 years. I absolutely love my career and love the beauty profession. I love making people feel & look pretty from the inside out. I always wanted to be a hairdresser ever since I was a little girl, cutting all of my Barbie’s hair was my first hair inspirations. 

I am Vidal Sassoon trained in LA, California in advanced custom coloring and precision cutting. I am Redken 5th Avenue NYC trained in color education. I educated when they first launched Redken Shades EQ. I graduated Michael Coles Bootcamp 101. I have worked at news stations coiffing celebrities’ hair and news casters hair. I have done hair in LA for Nickelodeon Teen Choice Awards; I have competed and was top 3 of the Tiffany Hairdresser of the year awards. I have competed and won junk to funk, I have created an angel collection for a local Bra Auction with 13 models, I have worked and was on stage at big hair shows and brushed shoulders with many amazing hair artist in my career. 

I have opened from scratch, two amazing quaint hair studios before there were any pop up quant hair studios. There are lots of defining moments in my career but the biggest reward is working behind my chair making each and every client of mine look and feel beautiful from the inside out. 

Making them feel better than when I found them entering my studio. They leave looking & feeling inspired. I am and have always been passionate about my hair career. 

When I was 26 I started my own private hair studio for 5 years and I stepped away briefly to start a family. I have always been passionate about the hair industry and knew I would be back coiffing hair and creating beautiful masterpieces. I knew I would return to building my Hair Empire, building and branding is what I do best. My love for the business never left my heart and soul, and the desire in making people look and feel beautiful on the inside out and leaving them better than when I found them entering my doors and sitting behind my chair, they always leave feeling refreshed, renewed and rejuvenated. Feeling inspired on the inside out and feeling on point and boujee beautiful. That truly is what I love doing the very best. That makes my heart happy. 

My husband and I opened the second salon The Hair Studio on 4.27.14. The most important thing when creating The Hair Studio was creating the right atmosphere. I wanted it to have the same feel as my first studio did. I wanted it to have the home like feel, but swanky and shabby chic with a boho vibe. Having it is a place for people to come and relax and forget about the everyday stresses of life. We wanted to space out the styling stations and pamper stations so clients and stylists can enjoy private, intimate conversations. That was how my first studio was like. It was quite a gem and quite amazing like The Hair Studio is. 

It is a great place for woman, men and children to relax and unwind and get pampered. 

One nice thing we do and have done every year is we give out Holiday gifts to all of our clients. We love to show our love and appreciation. We also give them Hair Studio SHINE. Loyalty cards to be used throughout the year. We are always doing something to make our clients not only look amazing and fabulous but feel special and appreciated. The atmosphere and vibe was created like my first hair studio. My studios are an extension of me and who I am. The customer comes in and is greeted with a smile, leaves with a smile and returns with a smile. I am not only a good hairstylist but a good listener. I love my relationships I have with all of my clients behind the chair. I get to experience all of their first moments, last moments, and cherished moments, all of their smiles, tears and shared laughs. So much love and care shared from behind the chair. Most importantly leaving them feeling and looking better than when I found them. I always look forward to the next time, and the joy of meeting their wonderful family and friends behind my chair. 

At The Hair Studio I have created entrepreneurs, I have helped license and certify hairdresser, nail and lash techs. I have helped build so many girls hair careers where they started from scratch having zero clients and built them up with $500-1000 plus weekly earnings. I teach them how to brand themselves and think like girl bosses, I teach them the three R’s in business, Referral, Retention and Rebooking, I teach them social media and marketing with before and after pictures of their clients with hashtags and utilizing their own brand with their own beauty page while tagging and linking The Hair Studio. I teach them how to be on a successful Hair Studio Beauty team. I show them how to create client love, loyalty and appreciation. We want the stylist to feel empowered and keep being inspired. I teach them 110 percent customer service and pampering. 

I have done a dozen in-house hair colors and cutting class classes at The Hair Studio. We do wonderful Pamper Like a Princess Parties, we do side by side mani pedi’s with your BFF. We do XO by Elizabeth Happy Hour Blow Dry Parties. We do charity events where we give back to our community.

I love with all of my heart and let the passion for the hair industry create and cut beautiful masterpieces. 

We are a family owned business and my husband and my sons have helped me build our precious and fabulous empire. I have always had a career oriented mindset however doing it together as a family has been truly a blessing and amazing. 

New exciting news at The Hair Studio on 4.27.21 we launched our new product line XO by Elizabeth. It is sulfate free and paraben free. It smells amazing and makes your hair feel like a million bucks. I only use what I love. The bottles are so pretty. Also, we are creating the web page which will be linked and for clients to book hair services, hair parties and also future stylists to brand their name and build their business through my consulting by E (me) which include color formulations, color mapping and how to build an empire. 

We also have a beauty blog, pod cast, how-to tutorials and beauty questions and answers. Enjoy. I hope I will meet you behind the chair or in a phone conversation building and branding your business, or answering a beauty question and that I can answer.
